THE BODY PEOPLE PRIVACY NOTICE

The Body People are committed to protecting your privacy when you use our services. This notice explains how we use your information and subsequently protect your privacy in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act (DPA) 2018. 

The data we collect about you includes:

  • Health history, name, address, telephone number, email address, demographic data, credit card.

  • Your information will be stored for the period in which you access The Body People’s services, in line with requirements stipulated by legislation and the guidelines provided by the GDPR and DPA 2018. The Body People wish to provide a safe and inclusive space, especially for marginalised communities. As such, some of the data we collect is used to monitor our work in these communities and ensure we are aptly supporting them.  

Your information will not be shared with any third party. 

Data protection legislation provides you with the following data subject rights:

  • The right of rectification

  • The right to erasure

  • The right to restrict processing 

  • The right to data portability

  • The right to object
