AERIAL PILATES
Pilates, but make it aerial!
If you’re curious about aerial but not quite ready to get too acrobatics, this is a brilliant place to begin.
Using a fabric hammock suspended from two ceiling points, we’ll take you through Pilates-based exercises that build core strength, improve mobility, challenge your balance and help you stretch.
Think Reformer Pilates, but with the added freedom of a hammock. Better than Reformer, in our opinion! 😉
Unlike our other aerial classes, the focus is less on acrobatics and more on controlled movement, strength and stretching. You’ll also have the opportunity to experience supported inversions (hanging upside down), which some people find particularly relieving for a tight back.
And the best bit? We finish by wrapping ourselves up in the hammock like a cosy cocoon for some well-earned relaxation.
Beginner-friendly: Absolutely! One of our favourite introductions to aerial.
